LNU SELECT’s U11, U13 and U15 teams go undefeated in the 2009 Summer Slam Tournament May 30 & 31st in Midlothian Virgina!!!
LUN SELECT Summer Slam Record: 16 Wins 0 Loss
In an awesome display of Lake Norman lacrosse, the LNU select teams in all age groups ran the field. Beating every team in every age group!!!
U11 WINS 2009 Summer Slam CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
LNU Select U11 team was victorious over Hanover Blackhawks(Va.), Tyla Vipers(NC), Excalibur(?), and Carolina Booweevils in order to advance to the Championship round where they defeated 2 teams to win te Championship for 2009. LNU Select U11 – 6 wins 0 losses.
U13 Goes undefeated but falls short on points!!!
LNU Select U13 team was undefeated through pool play by beating Weaver Titans White (Va), Hanover Blackhawks(VA), Tyla B(NC), and the G Select team(?). In their pool, two team went undefeated and tournament structure was based on most points scored to advance to the finals. LNU Select fell just short of advancing to the Championship round. LNU SELECT U13 – 4 wins 0 Losses.
U15 Goes WINS 2009 SUMMER SLAM SLAM CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
LNU Select U15team was victorious over Hanover Blackhawks(Va), Richmond Capitols(Va), Cougar Slect Gold (NC), and Upper Shelf (NC) to advance to the finals of the U15 Bracket where they won the smi round over Excalibur lacrosse(?) to advanc to the finals. In the finals they faced a very strong Predator(Va) team out of Charlottesville, Va and defeated them 6-2 to claim their second CHAMPIONSHIP of the summer. Through 2 tournaments the LNU Select U15 team has a combined record of 12 wins and 0 losses
