We are here to provide you and your family with the best youth lacrosse experience possible! We are proud to bring you a group of highly accomplished coaches and administrators. Read the bios below to learn more about your coach and other leaders in our community.


Madelyn Walker
Coach - Girls

Madelyn Walker graduated from Millsaps College in 2014 where she played DIII Women’s Lacrosse. Walker started playing lacrosse in 2006 when her High School started a team and volunteered to learn the goalie position.

At Millsaps College Walker had 55 season starts and was a leading goalie in save percentage, forced turn overs, clears, and number of saves. In 2011 Walker was named to the SCAC All-Sportsmanship team, led the SCAC with 160 saves and played in every game as a freshman. In 2012 Walker was named to the SAA all Academic all Sportsmanship Team and lead the conference in goalie forced turn overs and interceptions. In 2013 Walker was named Co-Captain of the Lady Majors Lacrosse team and was named SAA all Academic all Sportsmanship Team and SAA All Conference 2nd team. In 2014 Walker continued as Co-Captain, was named again to the SAA All Conference 2nd team, was defensive player of the week, and had two player of the week honorable mentions, she also finished second in the conference on save percentage. Walker graduate with a B.B.A. in Economics and Business Administration.

Since graduating college Walker has stayed involved with lacrosse by becoming an official; officiating middle and high school women’s games and helping coach around the community. Walker is currently a registered sales associate for Wells Fargo Global Alternative Investments.

Shannon Brockley
Coach - Girls

Brockley, a San Diego native, has played lacrosse for ten years. She was a four-year varsity starter for Scripps Ranch High School, where she played midfield and took on the role of draw control specialist. With 70% overall win average on the draw, she helped lead her team to the CIF semi-finals. 

With her success on the field, she then went on to play four years of DIII lacrosse at Lynchburg College in Virginia. Lynchburg is one of the top DIII lacrosse schools in the country. She had a major impact on the draw circle for the Hornets. She also was recognized by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association and named to the IWLCA Scholar-Athlete Academic Honor Roll in 2013, 2014 and 2015. She graduated in 2015 with a major in Graphic Design and a double minor in Marketing and Communications. 

Most recently Coach Brockley was an assistant for the Lake Norman High School Women's Varsity lacrosse
team. She helped coach the Wildcats to the North Carolina State Championship game for the 2016 season. She also coached the LNU elementary schools girls in the 2016 spring season and has helped out with various clinics in the Charlotte area. 

Kelsey Ingraham 
Coach - Girls

Kelsey Ingraham joins Lake Norman United Lacrosse after her position as the Interim Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Millsaps College, her alma mater. As a Major, Ingraham played both defense and attack.  Starting in all 46 games, she was credited with a total of 36 points; 21 goals, 15 assists and 88 ground balls. Ingraham is a native of Greenwich, Connecticut where she started playing lacrosse at the age of 8 and was involved with the Greenwich Youth Lacrosse program as a coach and an official.
